tgm strats - are they really that bad?

as per topic, are tgm strats really that bad as people say? or are they decently well built?

and does anyone happen to know what wood they use for their bodies?

TGM is a china- based company i think but no-one knows cuz they dont have a site.
i used to own this strat copy that i bought for $70. i think it's price-worthy n the feel's not bad, but u can tell that it's made of low-grade wood.

oh btw, if u look at the reviews on harmony central, u'll find that there are ppl in AUS n USA who own TGMs..
