if you want a good job, go to Acid Crue (peninsula level 1) or Visual Orgasm (parklane level 3 i think). Actually, i think every shop does 'custom' designs...
Imagine if you were an artist and only tattoo cherry blossoms and dragon heads on everyone in different colours or shapes.
You might want to look at the artist portfolio before getting inked by them. Although these portfolios are sometimes very deceiving cause they post their best pieces.
Do take note that what's on paper might not be as nice on skin. So try to picture your design on skin and where it is positioned

good tattoo artists always know how to make a piece suitable for you, and whether it is appropriate to a tattoo. what are you planning to get nyway.

and take note of their strokes on paper. If they can't even draw a proper curve on paper, don't expect them to draw a proper curve on skin. (speaking from past experience

)just for ur info singapore got no age limit. Its just that some shops have the 18 rule so ur parents wont come to thier shop and argue with them for doing ur tattoo without thier consent. I know this cause I know alot of artists... And It came out on news that they might be considering to add age limit.

Most shops put the sign just for show la. But there are a few shops that are rather strict. I think body decor's quite strict. They didn't allow my cousin to pierce her tongue when she was 15.
when i was 16 I did a tattoo there one reason cause I already had tattoos. And 2 I know the people there
hahahaha. The only shop which is like seriously strict is Johnny 2 thummbs. But there also still can la if u got friends One piece of advice pay the price, a tattoo is for life, if u cant get the money now save up for it. Be paitent and it will be beautiful. Dont forget to check the artist portfolio if u dont know him. And take care of it while its healing!

Mom: 'eh lemme see your tattoo'
Me: 'for what?'
Mom: 'Aiyo, why wanna get so big? Get small one la'
Me: 'Ok la. I do one mole, maybe it will cost 10 cents.'

How's getting a tattoo like actually?
I really wanna get one on my finger after my 18th birthday (like roman numerals or something cliche like that lol.), but heard that tattoo parlors tend to avoid tattooing hands because of some inconvenience. Is it the same for the tattoo shops in Singapore also?
