got one of each (bass trainer for my brother's birthday)
unit seems sturdy (but I won't throw it on the ground just to check how resistant it is to the shock...
)
initially I didnt mean to purchase it but I made a mistake when ordering... so I ended up with this guitar trainer
I just gave it a try:
canceling the guitar on a track is ok. not perfect but decent.
comes with a tuner, a metronome and some Fx loops
sound is pretty good, menu is fairly intuitive
I was pretty impressed by the pitch and key options.
basically the unit allows you to change the pitch/key of a song (you can also slow down or speed up a track). really convenient when you have a floyd rose mounted guitar with a standard tuning and you want to practice on a track that is tuned a whole step down...
the A/B loop function is very handy (having problems passing this 2'05 solo part? slow it down, loop it...)
overall : I would recommend the unit to people who are traveling or who don't want to annoy their neighbors!
now: I have to find a foldable guitar or a travel kit that allows me to practice at the hotel!
