Tama iron cobra

Can anyone tell me the different between tama iron cobra PTW and RTW please?

Power glide has an offset cam and Rolling glide has a uniform cam. The offset cam provides acceleration and will speed up at the end of each stroke, uniform cam giving a more... uniform feel.

actorial.... give the pearl eliminators a shot... they give you PTW and RTW..with the price of one double bass pedal. the innovation of pearl eliminators is amazing..i recommend you give it a shot..really. :wink:

i mean tama iron cobras are good.. but pearl gives you bang for your buck with quality. :wink:

bklk, you're using pearl eliminator belt or chain? by the way both belt and chain do can change the cam ain't it? So what's ur recommendation belt or chain? I thought of giving up my tama iron cobra jr. and of course anyone have any idea how much swee lee is selling? thanks

u know wat? just get the carlos $160 one. its double chained and feels AS GOOD AS the iron cobra and probably the eliminator. however it is less tune-able i spose. but for $160 its a real steal..

im using the chain ones, yeah you could change those, go check on pearl's website... http://www.pearldrum.com/p2000-2-bc.htm ..the new eliminators can switch between the chain or the belt drives..give it a shot.

but of course as lars_ulrich says you could try to get the carlos ones just to try out for a couple of months, years, decade.. ..if you're on a tight budget.

anyways have fun with the double pedal guys, i know i did, and still loving it.... tama, pearl, carlos, axis, santiago, diamond, elmando..or whatever ... just have fun with the doubles it opens up a lot of other possibilities..just dont neglet the singles.. :wink:
