Taking care of your guitar?

How do you take of a solid wood guitar(as in not laminated wood)?Does the bag used needed.?must we put it in a bag after using the instrument?Thks

i put a bag of silica gell inside my guitar to absorb the moisture out from around my guitar, other than that, i use a well padded bag

do not expose it to unnecessary moisture.. by doing the above mentioned methods

Perhaps put a silica gel pack not just inside the guitar, but outside the guitar in the gigbag as well.

BTW, does exposing a guitar in a regularly air conditioned room a bad thing to do? I'm really lazy to keep it in my bag and I want to place it on the support for decoration purpose also.

for that, u probably gotta have an aircon which can control the humidity of the room as well, and i think the best constant humidity is 50%.

Depends. Condensation will make it wet after you turn off the aircon. Unless you're planning to turn it on forever. Personally i use a hardcase with a hygrometer.
