Hmm how do i take out the volume and tone knobs? Pull them off?

wrap a cloth around the underneath of the knob (slide the flat side in) and make a constant pull (don't tug it.)

Some dome knobs have a screw and the side to fix them to the pot. If your knobs have screws, better unscrew them first and it will be easy to remove the knobs.
