T,T another floyd problem(fixed).....NECK ANGLE PROB!!!

okay today i finally bought an gotoh floyd...and i was like so happy haha
i brought my guitar there to check if the fitting is all right blahblahblah...
when i got home i quickly tried to install the gotoh floyd BUT!!!!
and i set it up -.-
the 1st string is off-set....
it is like at the tip on the fretboard.... reason the hole for the pivot pole was drilled too much on the right.... fyi i bought the guitar body from a fellow softy for $45... (yeah i know why in the h3LL did u buy it? well i was new to soft that tyme and i wanted a new guitar and since i found a guitar neck at my school's dust bin why not)
yeah now i am thinking of covering the holes myself(some cement like stuff)....
then go to a shop that can drill the holes for me..... know any shop in sg that can do the job asap? like in afew hours tyme.... owh yea it will be great if u can tell me the price also... :D

EDIT!!!----------------------3 dayz later-------------------------------
wooohooo!! tks for all ur help :D
i fixed prob myself XP
lucky my dad had all the tools that i need :D
that plus my expirience in drilling stuff/hammering/etc from my ite course i graduated last year ,precision engineering(aerospace) ^-^

yea i used dowels cause it was available + the size was close enough...haha
i combo'ed wood glue and some wood dust together then i leave it to dry...
then i sanded the thing, measured the centre point + depth and drilled the repaired wood...
knocked the pivot stud with plastic mallet and all done ^-^

BUT!!! i still got one more prob hehe~
neck angle hahahaha~ any advise?
the action damn high.....like my tgm acoustic like that XP
fyi its not the truss rod....
i think its the base of the neck joint....
should i use epoxy filler to do the angle??? HAHAHAHA

You might end up spending more to get your guitar up. Anyway, best if you could post some pics. Covering the holes is not the issue. You'll need the right compound or the hardness might not be there and will cause your pivot pins to wobble like crazy. Paying the pros at the few guitar repair shops might set you back the cost of a guitar.

For now, please avoid doing anything that might damage the floyd rose. If all elso fail, at least you could sell off the floyd rose.

not as easy as it sounds.

1) remove stud inserts using a specific tool.
2) fill up those holes with SOLID WOOD (wood filler not strong enough).
3) measure the holes accurately & cut the wood out.
3) clamp those pieces of solid wood down after applying wood glue.
4) sand down any form of unevenness.
5) check to see if you need to route the sides to fit the bridge after aligning the bridge.
6) drill the new holes accurately
7) put in the new stud inserts provided

For that much work, don't expect it to be less than $100 even if a store can accomplish such a task.

nah i will find a way to remove the studs myself..
nah i don't believe in wood filler... not too solid i use apoxy filler(its hard as steel)
just found out i only need to reposition one of the holes....
no i will not buy a new guitar body....i already repainted it lol!

bro the link you posted not working well :)
is it possible that u need a smaller bridge as oppose to the gotoh? the gotoh is 54.*mm? i find string drop off is common, when the bridge alignment is off OR ur neck need to shift a bit ..

the insert u can pull it off using e hammer claw, place a piece of wood on the guitar body so as not to damage it .hope u get what i mean .
for refilling , a combination of wood dowel and epoxy is the best.
to redrill the insert hole, use a bench press and clamp the body to the table ...else prone to making the same mistakes again ...:) measure the depth of the hole first ..

ps ...what size is the insert? 10 OR 13mm? sorry not sure ..:)

When drilling the holes, make sure that the diameter of the drill bit is correct (slightly smaller than the stud insert). It is supposed to be a very tight fit, so tight, you'll need to bench press the stud inserts into the body.

And gauge the depth properly, dun drill through into the springs cavity.
