surveys: Music for leisure or fulltime?

I reckon leisure first, and if it takes off, then full-time. You're never going to get anywhere if you don't have a job and hence, no money to get the good equipment. Yea, you can have the skills, but you're ultimately going to lose out.

I choose leisure cos I don't like the ethics of the music business.....Even if I do go pro there are so many terms and conditions I'll lay out that labels won't wanna sign me

Make a band. Do a demo. Send it to label or just promote aggressively yourself. Then see what happens.

before even thinking full-time, take leisure, u may also need a fallback.

I like writing books as well, and I also need a day job, as well as play guitar in my three bands (ouch). So yeah, it's gonna be tough but I'll say 'as fulltime as possible' since I'll be doing all three at the same time, and earning income from all three if possible.

if i want do music fulltime i'll have to go overseas a few years first.
either that or come back singapore, invest in some stocks.
pray investments come thru.
