Stardust 2008 is celebrating its 18th year with a mega-scale event this year!

Started by the Business Administration Club (BizAd) of NUS, Stardust 2008 has come a long way and this year, BizAd is collaborating with Public Relations Unit (PRU) under the NUS Student Union to make this year's Stardust a mega-scale inter-tertiary singing and band competition!

Lead by musicians, this year's Stardust 2008 will prove to be a great platform for aspiring singers and upcoming bands to upstart their dreams. We allow both English and Mandarin songs!

Audition dates for bands are on 4th and 5th of March at Anaki Records and the soloist auditions are on 8th and 9th of March at Lee Wei Song School of Music.

All entrants must be 16 - 25 years old.

Audition registration deadline
For Solo Category: 5th March 2008 (Wednesday).
For Band Category: 3rd March 2008 (Monday).

Encouraged by its inaugural success last year, Rock the Sub returns to Timbre @ The Substation and The Substation Theatre on 7 June 2008 with twelve knockout Singapore bands. Established names within the local indie circle will perform alongside emerging, up and coming young bands on two alternating stages from 6pm to 2am. Co-presented by The Substation, the event features (bands) Armchair Critic, Allura, Fishtank, Giants Must Fall, Heritage, Kevin Mathews & the Groovy People, Lunarin, Tiramisu, Vertical Rush, West Grand Boulevard, You and Whose Army? and Zero Sequence.

This event is presented by Timbre Music in partnership with the Singapore Arts Festival.

Also to note that the gig has a pop vocal workshop, so you'll be able to catch both RG and figure out how they sing later on, hehehe..

Btw fgl where's the part in the ad they mention RG? Cos I saw only sec sch bands and some hiphop thing and a Genie singer... Are you guys playing throughout? What's your time slot like?

For a moment there I was wondering if your band was a sec sch band... rofl :X sorry hahaha
