Can you recommend me any distortion pedals? pls?

Ok.. uhmm... first... I've been playing guitar for like 1 & a 1/2 years... but i haven't studied guitar much cos I learn from school, not any official yamaha lessons or anything. so I just know how to play well that's all. :???:

SO...

My question to ppl here is that I want to get a distortion pedal, kit, gear, or what?

not sure how i should call it.

I think i'm still just a noob... so, can people suggest me a good distortion pedal that isn't so expensive.

Yes i do not know how prices a range too so i'm thinking below $50? Is that too cheap

I'm also not sure what sounds i want cos' there are many types right?

SO, i want sounds like what is played in "All Time Low"

(the band, if you haven't heard listen to it i believe it's common distortion sounds used in many bands)

OMG i sound so demanding but i'm trying to be specific here so you can understand.

Yeah so... HELP~! :-D

Danelectro at Ty Music Center i think? A friend bought the FAB series from there. Secondhand Coolcats are available, i personally have one. Decent pedal. Beta Aivin at Davis, or Biyang pedals. Biyang will cost slightly more. 60+ secondhand.

Beta Aivin HM-200. Very versatile $55/$85 for a week and a year warranty respectively IIRC. Available at Standard Value.

When to DAVIS and check the cheapest and it's FAB but Dudelove said it was horrendous so i'm considering buying the coolcat... at $38 any others under $50 i should consider?
(i'm a cheap guy :))

to everyone :ANd thx for your help!

The cool cat is the most value for money of the lower end pedals...or at least thats what i heard.I've owned a couple. The Transparent Overdrive(the first version) and Vibe. They were definitely worth the money.Do consider getting them.Cheers
