Subwoofers for Studio, same brand??

Hiya,
I'm currently using a pair of passive Tannoy Reveals connected to Alesis RA150 power amp. Now i am looking for a subwoofer. I like the Yamaha HS10W or the KRK competitor, but someone told me i should get Tannoy subwoofer instead due to matching crossover frequencies. Any advice on this???

I'm not familiar with Tannoy subs but the Adams Sub10 is adjustable.

"It is possible to adjust the bandwidth of the woofer and the connected full-range speakers separately in order to allow the Sub10 to be used with many different satellites."

It really seems difficult to get reviews about the Adams Sub 10, and i can't even find the price or info on the dealers in Singapore....
