Hi there,
There is no particular string gauge for a particular model of guitar. String guage depends on what u want. Some prefer a lighter string guage because its easier and less painful on the fingers to play but some find it "thin" sounding. Some prefer thicker strings because they believe it produces a better tone.
But to each his own. There are great guitarists out there using thinner guage strings as well.
Just remember that if you buy a string guage that is different from your current one, you might need to send your guitar for a setup because different string gauges applies different tension on the neck, so the neck might warp.

Many acoustic guitars are factory-strung with gauge 10s, so I assume the Samick should be the same.
