am lookin at blue velvets and YJM's...anybody wanna buy my vintage american pups? heh.

will go have a lookie laterz. thanks for the advice! never failed to get good pointers on this forum. cheers!

dude... if you want a nice clean ... and still have good dist tones.. i would say stick to dimarzio ...

the virtual vintage 54(b) is very very good for middle positions...
for my bridge i use a vintage solo for bridge and it screams...
and neck a heavy blues... the heavy blues not very wow.... cant seem to get that clapton tone.

but then again... its definitely my playing.

hey dude, thks for the pm and advice. appreciate it. am considering now. vintage solo seems to be a good pick. am thinking for the neck and bridge i might go yjm and hs-3. any good? cheers

Yjm and Hs3, very smooth pickups man. Absolutely love them. Arpeggios and chords sound clear even with distortion. Go for it!!! ;)

if you taking the dimarzio route... then you totally need a virtual vintage 54b in the middle.

Keep your strat strat sounding so you still have great clucky cleans when you need it.

If you just want a wailing-neoclassical/metal/rock/alternative machine. a hs 3 or yjm in the neck is great for solos. ... but bridge hs3 isnt a must .... i vouch for the vintage solo..i can let you try mine if you want...
