Stim & Pot guitar at Guitar77 & Luthermusic

pass by luthermusic and guitar77 during lunch hour just now.. i saw that they are selling a strat type guitar that looks like strat but with the word Stim on the headstock. saw them on display at luthermusic. i also saw a strat shaped guitar with the brand Pot at Guitar77. anyone here know anything about this guitar? specifications? alder? or plywood guitar? thought of buying a strat package guitar for my nephew who is 10 years old.. im im not wrong i saw the price tag says $198 with 10watt amp and bag. anyone any comment??

u pay for what u get i suppose.. u pay peanuts, u get monkeys.. but since he's only ten, i dont think he cares about brands very much.. does he??

the POT plays good, tried it only once though. the stim not sure. why don't you head down and try for yourself once of these days

oh... heard beez's POT custom guitar costs arnd $1.5k... from what i know thye are assembled in thailand while most parts come from other parts of the world like US

juz like the analogy of the piccanto and the skyline, you still gotta test drive the car before you'd know if its good, so juz go down to g77 and try em out, i dun tink any of the staff will bite

the POTS are futher up market. the LP design they make is very good. nice finsh and fit, comfy neck carve. plays real well too. the only thing i wld change are the pickups.
