In this introductory course on electronic music, learn how to create your own original electronic music tracks and remixes in SOMA's Digital MIDI lab, using a Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) software learning concepts of music arrangement.
Topics include
* laying down beats and grooves,
* how to arrange in different electronic styles (trance / house / hip hop, electro and more)
* sound design and synthesis
* working with samples and soft synths
* using effects to enhance a final mix
* publishing your music
Commencement Date: Sunday 31 JULY - register ASAP
Course Duration: 7 weeks, Every Sunday 3 -5 pm
Fees: $400 (excluding a $28 reg. fee)
