Stand for STAGG 3/4 EDB Bass

I dont like this stand; because it holds the Stagg on the neck, this mean the Stagg couldnt be played on the stand.

Try look for cello/db stand where the body of the bass (instead of neck) rests on it. You can get one in a acoustic cello/db shop.

This picture is taken from mine.

Notice the 2 prongs? They are meant for cello body to rest on, but I use it for holding my bow. Because nothing obstructs the neck, I play my Stagg on the stand. Also, the end pin rests on the stand instead of on the floor; this makes the stand more stable. The Stagg's stand design requires you to fasten the neck with the rubber clip else it may slip away.

Cool..Thanks for the great tips. I'll consider buying either a cello or acoustic double bass stand.

What do you think of this double bass stand? Do you think I can use it for my stagg 3/4 EUB?

yes you can, you'll notice the end pin rest on the stand and the neck is free from obstruction.
