not really, the Squiers have a rather brash top end compared to the Fenders...

it depends- Affinity/ Std models...
i used to own the Affinity Strat & it let me down to say the least... but the Affinity bass is a different story. for guitars, i'd recommend you get the Std Squiers. the new satin finished Squier Fat Strat is killer IMO...

that Squier Bullet Special- it's really a decent guitar, honest. if you don't mind the Squier brand name, only need one humbucker, then the Bullet should be on your audition list. there was once when it was clearing for $230 only during a sale, but people hardly looked at it, they were busy looking at Epis...

i c wad u mean ... but a squier with a humbucker ? tts new ... i tot all squires / fender use single coil ? anyway can explain y does it onli have a single vol knob

there are a few humbucking equipped Squiers around, many don't make it here, so we don't see them in the stores... i did review the Squier Fat Strat (Satin finished) under Gear News- an above-average guitar, i must say. don't see it any more in the store though...
there's only one knob on the Squier Bullet Special- volume, no tone control...
the Boris BC Rich has the same price tag as the other Body Art series. it plays well but the reason i avoided it was because of a balance issue. the Boris model is a actually a BEAST model, which sports a slightly bigger widow headstock to counter the big body. however, i find that the guitar in question is neck heavy & kept tilting down when i played it sitting down. in any case, i'm giving it a benefit of the doubt- maybe it's an individual anomaly...

he he... it's not about the capacity to carry the guitar physically, it's about the annoyance of having to deal with a neck that keeps dipping down 8)

my Space Face is a steal, really. the single humbucker in there is a surprise package. it's one of the clearest high output humbucker i own, the fact that it's default, is really a bargain. you should try the body art guitars head-to-head with any entry level Ibanez guitars out there, then you'll hear the diff...
