Stunning and soft. Made of plush, thick red velvet with gold braid around the top, bottom, and one end. The other end has a channel for mounting on a flagpole. Very good condition.
I bought this piece of communist history from a Russian in 1993 in Krakow and have kept it in a drawer for 20 years. I am told that the multi-lingual text urges the workers of the world to unite to come to the victory of communist labor. This banner may have been used to decorate a factory or political office ... but it would make a stunning, bizarre backdrop for a deejay today.
