soundtrack pro user?

hi there any soundtrack pro users here?

i dun usually use STP but a certain project needs me to use d paticular software..

im facing problems roundtripping the sequence from final cut to STP.. somehow audio goes missing from FCP to STP.. Im trying not work around the problem but to solve it hopefully..

my situation is.....
i dun get any error messages.. Tried the 2 ways to send the sequence but still hav the same audio files missing.. the audio files are missing in the STP bin... basically it jus magically disappeared and its really frustrating...

by any chance anyone faced the same problems or know how to fix it please let me know.. its kinda urgent.. any help would be much appreciated.. thanx ppl...

I think it is meant for putting sound or scoring in a video clip. You may need to rip the audio using Compressor(app that convert video file).

im using the software to repair sound and some what to balance the overall mix..

all the sounds are already chosen in my final cut ssequence.. i hope not to alter it in any other ways.. i jus need all the sound from final cut to be there in soundtrack pro so its easier to work with...

ive manage to find a solution to the problem..

unlink the audio the from the clip... same goes to duplicated mono track..

that's cool that you posted the help too.

I usually find that it's better to work off a duplicated sequence before I send anything to STP.
And I would usually just send a duplicated audio file too instead of affecting the original one.

How's your progress? Sometimes STP would just start distorting and feeding back in the left channel while previewing Effects, so watch your ears if you're on headphones especially.

yea i did the same as well just in case...

so far so good... just not to my comfort using soundtrack pro.. the only problem now is that i have a bunch of mono tracks.. but can be fixed 'submixes'.. oh well...
