hey, can anyone recommend me any nice/famous songs, in which the DS-1 was used? i need to use a song that uses the DS-1 effect pedal for one of my assignments.

Thats is a darn cool assigment though it would have been easier if the topic was to find out which songs usd EL34 tubes.

Haha.. Anyways, most people use the DS-1 in conjunction with the amp that is already slighlty overdriven.

Thus it isnt a pure DS-1 sound.

Steve Vai is an example.

Wrong, ds-1 + evo pickups won't give you that sound. I have both so I know.

hahah just cos Nirvana plays grunge doesnt mean Kurt uses a grunge pedal. I think Kurt used both DS-1 & DS-2 in his songs. but he always has a small clone along with either one of those pedals. correct me if I'm wrong though.
