fret buzz?

not buzz...cos i play it at clean...

the sound is like...TIAK TIAK TIAK..when i play it...

You mean that when you play the 5th fret on that string there isn't much sustain?

Unforunately, I think it might be a dead spot on the fretboard..... I'm not sure whether it's repairable or not, perhaps you might wanna try replacing the strings and see if the problem is still there?

errr... fret buzz got nothing to do with clean or distortion.
Your description seems like a fret buzz to me.

you probably need to get your fret worn down.
or there might not be enough relief on your neck.
go to any experienced guitar tech.

Try taking the guitar to a repair shop and ask for their opinion, a proper set-up or fret levelling might do the job.

yea i think its fret buzz man. could be either due to unevenly levelled frets or your truss rod tension. should take it down for a proper setup. you could take it down to some of the shops at peninsular. or if u really love this guitar and intend to keep it for life or sumtin, then u could take it to malcolm for a full setup etc. but only if your keeping this guitar long term.

imho, it might be just adjusting the bridge saddle height for that particular string, and a little intonation for the neck, iono though, professional opinion would be better in the long run methinks :D

izzit normal to have slight fret buzz ya?

also can we bring down to swee lee to ask them do a full set up? hee..since under warranty mah :p

having a little fret buzz is ok i think, but u might eventually hate the buzzing sound so much u toss the guitar out the window :D iono abt the full setup, but present it to them as a problem with the instrument, and they might help u lol.

i think it's the action.
I've encounter this before when i change to a heavier gauge or lower the action too much.

there isnt enough clearance between the fretboard and strings after u depress it on a certain fret.

try adjusting the bridge height?
