We were jamming today when my guitar string broke. So I had no choice but to take one of the jamming studio's guitars. It was a kramer guitar, with seymour duncan pickups at the bridge and with a coil tap switch and an extra tone knob.

the closest thing I can find to it is this

anyways. the story is this, we were jamming happily. Suddenly i heard a voice. I thought it was just somebody or a handphone. So I started looking around the room. Then I realised it was coming FROM MY AMP. there were FREAKY VOICES COMING FROM MY AMP. so i quickly turn down the volume knob on my guitar and our whole band screamed in horror.

There were two other practice rooms also. but the sound wasn't coming from them cos I was VERY SURE it was coming from my amp. freaky. den it also made screaming sounds all of a sudden. UNCONTROLLABLE!

scary freaky guitar. can anyone give an explanation or is the guitar just haunteD?

Nice Kramer, I can't explain it, but I do know some synths have a "nightmare" patch which makes freaky sounds. Maybe.

white noise it might be...my frend and i had trying to record down white noise thru the guitar and amps...but nth much had been accomplish...except for this

heres my experience:

one night, i and 2 other friends r jamming at my friend's house...den its like going to get 11 pm..so we decided to stop and rest...den my friend suggested to do some experiments on the bass and bass amp for white noise...since there arent any results from guitar amps...den out of suddenly...the bass amp suddenly has a deep man voice speaking in some language we didnt know...so we got kinda freak out...but we decided to speak back to tt voice by talking to the bass pickups...and then the voice stop...

this is no fake guys...100% is my very own experience...

Hey chill. Especially when you said there's two other jamming rooms. I experienced something like that a couple of times. The sounds from the next room, reaching us through the amps. Nothing really freaking about it. =) Some whatever sound waves perhaps. AH physics stuff. Gee.

it's the radio signal your effect pedals picked up if im not wrong. i had that experience a few times

for my case...we didnt plug into any effects pedal at all...just the bass to the bass amp..tts it...

Nothing strange, it's just your guitar pickups picking up stray radio signals. My speakers used to play power98 faintly because it was picking up the signal, and my old home phone always picked up the local indian radio station.

yea man, nice guitar..anyway my band had that experience before too n actually after much investigation, its only some lost radio station caught on my friends amp ah..o maybeee SOMETHING wants to join in too? not bad..u have an extra back-up vox ah..  kidding..

lol after reading this thread I realised the reason for a few freaky experiences I had when I was a little kid. sorry, my physics was never anything fantastic :P
but radio signals don't explain why when I was in the studio alone practicing drumming (I have no kit at home) the snare suddenly sounded and I was not even touching the kit. my sticks were in my bag. got quite freaked out but I just played as per normal and nothing happened. :P

Actually what freaked me out the most was when I was reading this post , this stick-up-on-the-wall T shirt which was for display in my room dropped off my wall RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME!!!!
