Solo tone? :x

hey guys, i wanna know how to get the tone of the solo in JUMPER by Third Eye Blind.

I've tried tweaking alot,
my current gears,
JEM JR, RG08Ltd,
ME-20,
Cube30x.
i've tried going through everything,
even the computer amp.

is it my guitar's fault? :X
i've got a feeling that tone is the tone
of a lespaul. thanks in advance guys.

Maybe just try some mild distortion...maybe your "classic stack" on your cube and use your neck pickup

Try put in delay, reverb. and most importantly bring up ur mids so ur sound will cut thru and stand out which is solos are meant for right. rock on buddy

and also tone comes from the fingers as well....so might just need to work on your playing =)
