WAH!!! A great night with the SMV!!! WOO!!!!..They were so great that i have to clap ,cheer and do standing ovation for them!!haha!!:D..somehow i feel that 90 mins are not that enough actually hahaha...plus,i learnt a new technique from stanley- "you can actually do a 'power stance' on a double/acoustic bass" WOAH!!!!.....
SO, What about you?tell us about your experience with the SMV...share some pictures if you guys have...

oh ya,i seat at row ee , 24 haha..and i use that ticket for their autograph!!!WOO!!!:D

i sat at the 1st row. just right below stanley and marcus.
AWESOME SHOW. im listening to the cd right now and i cant stop tapping my foot still.

It was awesome seeing them live and in person!

I'm not a big follower of Stanley or Victor but i do listen to their stuff but i'm defintely a listener of Marcus. I noticed that his technique has improved over the years. Somehow he has some of Victor's stuff rubbing off onto him .. like his double-thumping style evolved a little, you can tell a little of Victor's stuff rubbing onto him.

Stanley still retains his signature style and sound while Victor locks it down tight with his undeniable groove. Overall, i enjoyed it .. when Stanley said . "we're going to perform our last tune tonight .. " i was like .. "what!? so fast?" .. yeah .. that's how enjoyable the show was .. AWESOME!!

It was an awesome show, and I am thoroughly impressed and inspired! Stanley's finesse and musicianship on the upright is simply unbelievable.

One question tho.. I felt that Victor's tone wasn't quite the same. It didn't have the usual high end zing.. not sure if it is due to the Hartke that he was using..?

shouldnt the hartke have that high end zing?
aluminum cones right?

Edit: i wonder why he didnt use his fodera emperor.

I've been using Hartke cabs for the past 3 years.. based on my own opinion, they are more defined in the mids. This is a characteristic of the aluminium cone. Generally, I find that Hartke lacks the hi-end zing when compared with other cabs like Ampeg or SWR.

Mebbe Wooten is looking to alter his tone.

yeah

yeah...i feel the same way...Victor sound diffent that day...i still remember i watched one video that time when he played Amazing grace ...WOO!!!!

what an amazing....awesome show man!!!

i finally got to say thank you and hello to mr. stanley clarke, mr. marcus miller and mr. wooten.

........i do hope return to forever performs at the esplande.....

oh.....

well the change of tone could be deliberate, due to each of them covering specific roles..

oh i see....now i've got the picture...Anyway,its an Awesome show in the end!!!WOO!!!! Hope to see SMV again..:???:
