The chorus 40W model comes with stated "BOOST" channel. Which is what it's meant to do, to boost the signal to an overdrive sound.
This will not be high distortion sound that you might be thinking about. More like classic distortion.
But at the price, you are getting plenty of features already. It's a stereo amp, with 2X 10" speakers in stereo mode of total 40Watts output power. It also have stereo chorus effect which is the main feature of this amp. Clean sound is great, and plenty of chorus part of songs require a good clean sound. That's most important.
Also distortion sound has so many variation, better to buy effect pedals and use the boost channel to further power your dist input.

if anyone wants to buy the bass amps, its gotta be the BS2-75. 15" speaker with no tweeter. Very good value for money.
