Hi everyone, I'm looking for a small sized preamp capable of supplying phantom power.
Currently, I'm running off an echo audiofire 2 which gets its input from a mixer. This allows me the flexibility to record individual tracks, stereo tracks or a full acoustic setup mix.
However, I will be going overseas for half a year and it is not practical for me to bring along the heavy mixer. During my trip, I will only be using a pair of stereo condenser mics (behringer c2). So I'm looking for the smallest preamp capable of boosting and powering the condensers.
The smallest and most practical one I can think of is M audio Audio Buddy. If anyone here has had a similar experience or a suggestion, pls share. I would pick portability over quality when making my decision.
