Slow down songs

Hey guys i need recommendation for software(preferably free) to slow down your mp3 songs so that i can learn those crazy quick solos.

windows media player has a function which slows down the play rate of e song.

just click 'view' then 'enhancements' and then 'play speed settings'. from there you can adjust the speed to damn slow or super fast.

There's a drop down list beside the tempo option to select the speed playback. (In this pic, its at 50% speed)

how about dropping down/up pitch??for example now im in drop D tuning ,and i wanna play scream-a7x which is drop C# tuning...what i mean is on Guitar pro...

That is to do with your guitar tuning, nothing to do with computers.
