Groan...I was down with flu for the past week and boy I'm 'barking' like a chihuahua gone mental and my nose keeps 'running' everywhere ! So out of frustration, I came up with "Slimey Gooey" which the title inspired from the sicko stuff that keep coming out from my nose (pardon me, if I make it too visual...hee) but hey, since they say there's a story behind every song what...?
Anyhooo, this one has me programming the drums from scratch again (sorry for the cheesy intro part). Tot of asking Portnoy to play but before he ask me to take a long hike, I better just let my fingers do the dodgy drum parts using MIDI keybd lah until I can find Portnoy's standard who's willing to play for free...ha ha.
As for the guitar, I used sounds from ZOOM G7.1ut multi efx processor direct USB to my iMac's GarageBand and for the 1st time in 19 years, I used a Whammy pedal effect...! I never felt so ALIVE and so SUAKU/JAKON...?! Enuf blabbering...
