i wouldnt rely on the distortion... many ppl who review dont quite like the distortion on the wah, but they find the wah itself extremely good

ah ic... thx.. and btw is getting a wah as a 1st pedal a good idea? not sure if guitar > wah > amp would sound good..

look at slash. guitar- wah- amp. does he sound good?

i suspect that the distortion on the pedal is more for driving an overdriven amp than as a standalone dist per se.

nothing wrong with getting a wah first. i did it, as long as you can live with your amp's gain until you get a pedal for it. the dist from the wah was supposed to be more of a boost i believe.

keep in mind it runs on 18v.

you'll need 2 9v batteries in it. but it might be able to run on 9v.

i got a friend whose 535q ran on 18v but it worked fine with a onespot.

careful when running pedals at a lower voltage than required. a lower current is fine but i don think voltage should be lowered by that much.

sry imma complete noob at pedals... whats 9v and 18v batteries? are they like aa and aaa batteries?

dont think there are 18v batteries. but 2 9v batteries in series(correct?) should give you 18v.

aa is like 1.5v i think. 9v is c?
