Singstar ( is it really accurate ?)

well if u guys have played singstar on ps2 or ps3 .
please tell me if it is really accurate?
cause i think that its not that really accurate cause they dont really catch the real pitch in the correct octave of what your singing. cause my bro is like using the low octaves to easy sing the songs. and yes how would u improve singing? follow the actual pitch or start from low octave?

but well i think following the actual pitch should be the case as everyone jams the actual pitch what lol

probably not. correct me if i'm wrong but I think the game only tracks notes not the pitch.

I think it just follows notes of your voice. Like a tuner, regardless of octave. It's a fun game not for practice. Like karaoke-ing.
