Hi all,
We are an intermediate level guitar/ keyboard duo in our 20s looking to recruit singers around the same age
Starting with a tiny desk format (guitars & keyboard) of covers, we want to eventually evolve the band into something bigger. The idea is to form a small community of singers/musicians with differing music tastes to share, and be flexible to play in both an acoustic stripped down/ full band setting.
Right now, we are looking for:
- A female singer OR a male singer with a versatile vocal range (Commitment: at least once or twice a month on a weekend)
- Experience OR genuine interest in covering blues/oldies/alternate rock tunes
Some examples of songs we'd like to cover:
Blues/ Oldies: Touching Heaven by Johnnyswim; Valerie (Amy Winehouse version), Burning Love by Elvis
Rock: That Thing You Do! - The Wonders; Dancing In The Moonlight by Toploader
Ballads: Heaven by Bryan Adams
Alternative: Hallelujah (Jeff Buckley) ; Landslide by Fleetwood Mac
