Being away from Singapore made me miss the way we talk sometimes... One of the words that's stuck to my head (other than the Hokkien vulgarities) is "POWER"...
Everyday here, people say "kicks ass", "awesome", "rad", "epic", "tight"... So one day, my guitarist asked me, "I need to find a new word!!!"
I told him, "You know what, back in Singapore, my friends and I will say, 'Power!!!' for words similar to those meaning... And don't forget to emphasize"
Next thing I know, he wrote and sang this song called Power. He dedicated it to Singapore!
