Sianpore Tax on japan online purchase help?

Yep, 7% GST on the whole amount (CIF - Cost, Insurance, Freight) if the total is more than S$400.

if is charge if more than 400 why not get the parts one by one

if you order it in (as in order online), no way to escape the tax, its 7% as stated. If you buy it in Japan and handcarry it (or check it in as luggage) on the plane, chances are they won't tax you
