Shure SCL2s problem.

I've got two pairs of shures, a pair of E3Cs and SCL2s.

My E3Cs have been going good for 2 years now. but the SCL2s are getting funky (the 99/pair set)

I can't hear the vocals of some songs when i listen through them. The vocals will keep cutting out and then coming back in intermittently.

Any idea what the issue is? I got the pair last march.. Also, do you think Ban Leong audio tech will service or give me a new pair?

thing is.. I dont know where the crap my warranty card is..

If this happens only on your SCL2s while plugged in to the same source, I'm pretty certain the issue is born from a faulty 3.5mm jack or cable. If you try moving the jack around while it's plugged into your source, you'll find a sweet spot where the vocals come back.

I highly doubt Ban Leong will do much for you especially since you have misplaced your warranty card.

Ill try finding the warranty card then.. dang. lesson learned..
