The word should be Loot actually.

The only time I've seen 'Hoot' used is in the context of "not giving two hoots about your opinion".

Anyway, I've purchased the Line 6 M9. Will collect it once City Music gets it to their showroom.

ha ha i find it strange too the word 'hoot' and i never get around to know what it means but i notice that it appear on other local forum too like Hardware Zone, Clubsnap etc so i figure its a local singlish term.

Can someone here enlighten me?

It isn't the exact translation but more like what did you "whack" on.

Hence, whack = hoot.

And they go like, total damage? (AKA how much total?)

i am eyeing the m9 too, but will only be able to afford it if i sell off many things. also no moolah for the ac4tv.
but most of all i must pick up a zoom h2.. it will go a long way.
 
Yes, the zoom h2 is brilliant, seems like the sale is a good time to pick it up. Have been using mine for ages.

Mmmm the m9 looks tasty, but the price don't differ much from the m16..

haha, still remember when i first touched the m16.. stupid thing keep IA-ing during Live firing.. even though i didnt do anything wrong, my magazine had some error, no filling.

got a present from the CM sale, someone bought me a mono strap!
