i wanna buy one guitar from japan ,
is there anyone know the tax will be how much ?
the price of the guitar is around 800 SGD,

Yeah, you pretty much need to pay tax for it, because anything exceeding the value of 400sgd will be subjected to 7% gst of the total price, so yeah you got your answer.

Not quite, you might just possibly pay GST just for the guitar alone. I think it depends how the seller bills it. Normally you pay the GST on delivery, to either UPS, FEDEX whomever guys came knocking at your door. If your given a delivery tracker number, it's also possible to call the local delivery office in advance to check on the GST amount to be paid.

Our import duties is based on CIF (Cargo + Insurance + Freight). Meaning u pay 7% gst on all 3.
