sheraton II

Can any one tell me if i can by the Epiphone Sheraton II in Singapore, and on a low-mid budget what would be a good amp ?

I bought mine from Swee Lee (Bras Brasah Complex, level 3) about 7 years ago. Not sure if they have one in stock. As for amps, I'd say a Vox Pathfinder 15r can be had for 100++? that's from City Music. Or sift thru the classifieds and shop away!

to be a little bit more specific on the amp i was hoping to head towards the Kings of Leon or Foo fighter sound, any recommendations ?

I remember seeing one or two pieces of the Epiphone Sheraton II in stock at Sound Alchemy.

amp plays quite a crucial role in the tone chasing process. you might want to check the set up those bands are using. Take that as your reference and don't expect fantastic results with a low budget for amps.

If you have a fixed budget, don't spend most of it on a guitar and the tiny remainder on a small cheapo amp. It would still sound unsatisfactory no matter what guitar you play. I would say split your budget equally for guitar and amp, or even slightly more for amp if possible. A good amp with a good speaker goes a long way.

Been to some of the guitar shops in Singapore but only managed to find a Sheraton 2 in sunburst, has any one seen one in ebony ?

There was one at Guitar Connection a few weeks ago. made in Korea totally mint condition and all. I was quoted $1200 for it. I don't see it anymore so I guess it's sold. very visually appealing but I can't stand the fact of owning to many glossy black guitars (fingerprint hazard)
