Setting Up a Roland MIDI Pickup

Hey all,

Anybody know of people who can do a decent (and proper) setup of the Roland GK-3 MIDI pickup? I have a Yamaha AES820 which has a rather flat fretboard. As the GK-3 is quite curved, the low and high E strings end up with very low sensitivity. Tracking also seems to be affected, as my piano patches have difficulty catching up with arpreggiated passages.

Any insight would be invaluable. Thanks peeps.

I was down at Guitar Connection just the other day and Regi had one installed on his PRS. He had no problems with it. Maybe you'd like to ask Kelvin for his opinion and price.

Yeah I cranked that screw to its flattest setting, and still have sensitivity issues with it. Thanks for the advice though!

I'll check out Guitar Connection! Thanks heaps!
