Dear fellow musicians ,
Sessions! is now a permanent weekly thg.. Its a bit lecehlah to keep posting new applications. So now,all u haf to do is text me if u wanna play at 93385414. You could also contact Ary @ 96648566. I will b updating this thread. Im Mat Rock btw.. Below is a summary of what Sessions is about.

About Sessions! :
Sessions is a weekly gig meant to provide new bands with a platform to share their music with the rest of us peeps..

Sessions! will be held at IJ Studios , Eunos Ave3, Gordon Industrial Building, Lvl 6.

there'll be
- no auditions
- no amount of cash bands have to fork oout
- no restrictions for music played
- no frills whatsoever.

bands will only be required to sell 10 tix per band.
[ also to ensure u wont be playing to an empty crowd, sadly =( ]

Dude, Sessions 6 will be on the 2nd April.. SLots are running out fast. You might want to apply for Sessions 7 which will be on 9th April. Cheers!

maybe u shld really2 plan all the gigs in advance.. like get the band line-up for one session shld be comfirmed a few weeks before the actual gig date.. at the same time get the flyers done and passed out to ppl so that they know well in advance of ur gig and disseminate the info to their friends. i think this will improve on the crowd. for tickets i think you shld sell the presale tix $1 cheaper than the door tix. this is my suggestion lar hahah.

maybe the audience could get involve and vote for the best band of that night and they get prizes or something? i mean beside good exposure its also makes the whole thing more interesting and maybe more pple will come in just to vote their fav band?
