semi-hollow guitar price, how mucho?

HI peeps,
I have a samick guitar, but now I wanted to invest on a semi-hollow guitar, maybe Ibanez .heard foo fighters play semi-hollow. Some Ibanez are made in china and taiwan, indonesia?I dun noe what is the range like,I saw at sweelee the salesguy said that particular ibanez is made in china..?he abit blur, he also not very sure like that :lol: but still the price is not cheap leh.

how much do U suggest a reasonable one to cost? like $500?are made in korea epiphone better?my budget is $600,can be more if I save up first.Can sum kind souls recommend me sum guitars here

wait for the sweelee mid year sale (which is damn soon) and get a ibanez as73, after discount would be $325 which is damn cheap for a set neck semi hollow guitar! haha heard pretty good reviews from it lol

Bluesman's DOT is Korean made btw. Comes with hardcase.

Epi DOTS are nice for the price, swap out the pups for duncan 59s sounds good for the price.

i guess gibson semi hollow sounds nice.. but it's a lil ex..u can try the epi's though..the model is electric spanish.. the cost at swee lee is ard $500 plus do check it out

*Ibanez's semi/ hollow units art the Artcore models, all Chinese

*Artcore offerings: Custom/ Deluxe/ Standard but the Ibanez people do not address these models as such.

Custom: 3-digit models eg: AF105

Deluxe: 2-digit starts with '8' (eg: AF86)

Standard: the rest (diff between deluxe & std- the former has a more defined top, usually flame/ quilt)
