Hi guys. I'm getting my 2nd guitar soon. My budget is around $500~900 any recommendations on guitars within my budget? Considering getting a Takamine guitar with solid wood. Wondering if i could get a full solid wood guitar with this budget and not just a solid top one anyone know the prices of such guitar? I'm also looking at Taylor brand guitars but wondering if it is in within my budget . Are there any good models for this price range?
P.S i'm on the fingerstyle side hahaha. Suggestion please :) and thanks in advance !!

edit. full solid as in the front and back excluding the sides hahahaha :p

I don't think there are any Takamines with full solid config at that price range. Only brand i know is Custom Acoustic @ CityMusic. For Taylors, only the Big Baby with pickup comes in at that price range. Full solid is usually 1k and above, though i believe the Alvarez MD series @ LutherMusic MIGHT be below that.

Its in Peninsula Plaza/Excelsior Hotel. Go up the steps opposite TYMC/beside Maestro (same flight of stairs) and then head up the escalator to the 2nd floor. LutherMusic is visible from there.

I think you shld concentrate on buying the best sounding rather than restrict yourself to full solid guitars at that price.

I was in your shoes, and I end up having both epiphone AJ220s and EJ220CE for its varsatile electronics.

I still have 2 CJ & SFX corts, vintage aria and kawai dreadnaughts.
I find dreadnaught the most uncomfortable guitar shape to play in your lap.

Also you must like the neck profile too...the feel of the guitar...all very subjective.
In a nut shell be comfortable!

You can get an all solid Parkwood at that price at Swee Lee and then install a pickup seperately. I'm not a huge fan of most factory stock pickups. I usually use only LR Baggs products, especially the Anthem.
