After some thoughts, I'm putting this guitar back on sale again, as my other posting of a Cort body and neck remained unsold. I will be keeping the Cort and doing some further damage to it to make it playable again. I will only keep this Cort rojak guitar hence selling the Hamer guitar. I can also save some cash on changing strings, strings are expensive these days, in my opinion.

The price is lowered as I have decided to keep my old battered paint peeling off original floyd rose and slap a licensed floyd rose onto the hamer guitar.

Features
Abalone Inlays, white and cream binding
This is something that even some prestige japanese guitars don't have.
Cort Licensed Floyd Rose
The licensed floyd rose trem edges have very little wear on it although there's still some cosmetic rust on the surface. This will work for a few years depending on how heavy the trem is worked. As usual, notes will go a bit sharp, but just give the whammy bar a thud to normalize things again.
Gotoh R2 Locking Nut
This is a high quality locking nut which costs me SGD$38. The width of the nut is 41.27mm which is thinner than certain japanese nut width. The original OEM ones that came with this guitar, the top locking nuts don't even fit properly, it's a tight squeeze. Not sure whether Hamer factory have since corrected this problem. The locking nut is made of good hardened steel, not the average cast steel. Kindly keep your locking nuts parts properly after buying this guitar as if you lose the top locking nuts and you buy some normal cast steel nuts, it will not work as well in tightening the strings to keep the guitar in tune.
Tilt Neck Joint
I don't really hear any difference as I don't have Eric Johnson's ears, but people like Paul Gilbert likes this feature for its tonal properties as his PGM401 has this feature.
This guitar can serve as a good base to upgrade thing if needed. The maple body respond well to fast riffing and helps to keep things clear as compare to mahogany bodies, although you might have to tweak some trebles as it is a bright guitar. Frets are ok, don't really have much problem, it's a buy and play guitar if not interested in any upgrading or spending money on setup.
It's a different animal from the usual japanese shredder guitars, this guitar remainded me of the kind of guitars that American markers churned out when they were competing head to head with japanese makers in the 80's.

Kindly note, there's a mistake on Hamer's website, this guitar comes with a 3 way switch not a 5 way switch.

I have some sound samples if interested, but kindly excuse my horrible playing in advance if requesting for sound samples.
