'Smart is good enough, don't act smart' This sentence doesn't even make sense to begin with, if you're smart by nature (unlike some people) you obviously don't have to act smart.
He obviously has no interest in buying your item. He just wants to bring this matter to everyone's attention and for people to be aware of your scam.
Yes even though I may not have many posts/rep power etc, whatever you want to call it, but I have been observing your posts for long time and think that it is extremely foolish to think that you think you will be able to sell these items at a price higher or on par with local prices.
What kind of stunt are you trying to pull off here? Are you trying to be a one-man-show Swee Lee? Mark up prices expecting potential buyers to be uninformed on current market prices and to buy your items? Don't think anyone is STUPID enough to do such a thing. This is no longer the 90s, we're living in the 21st century where people are able to get live updates on whatever issues that are going around and are clearly aware of prices or can be informed of prices with just quick search. Yet you wonder why your items that you put on sale have not been sold for months.
Since you always mention that items that you put on sale are considered as stock and you get them from your 'American Supplier' doesn't that make you an online shop/business owner? In that case you are not eligible to post in the buy/sell forums since it CLEARLY states that: "5) This Classified section is for user's personal items only, if you are trading commercially, please contact
info@soft.com.sg for advertising opportunties." and if you have just a tiny bit of integrity, you would contact James for these advertising opportunities. If you go into this market thinking that you can rip people off so that you can make a quick and easy buck, you are DAMN wrong because in the end, no one will trust you and you will be the one losing out.
I'm pretty sure you're going to start flaming me and asking me to meet face-to-face if I have any problems and not just sit behind my computer 'typing nonsense', but you know what? You're not worth my time and energy. And so why did I even bother typing this in the first place? I didn't do it out for myself or just to pick you out from the crowd, I did it so that the whole community can be aware of what you are doing, so they do not make the mistake of fueling your this twisted dream of yours and so that they do not lose out.
Just for emphasis, let me repeat again: I'm doing this for this community.
James, if you're reading this I hope that you will take some sort of action against him/her. If need be, I can easily get a petition going, signed by 100 softies personally just so that some sort of action can be taken.
