Sabian & Zildjian

luther use to carry zildjians, dono if they still do... all music at parklane sells sabians too...

Swee Lee and Yamaha are the authorised dealers for Sabian and Zildjian cymbals respectively in Singapore. Even if you find another co selling them, most likely these co bought the cymbals from them, and will be charging you the same price.

must wait for 3 months eh... that's not fast.

3 months? nah... i heard the new stock is coming nxt month! they ordered it quite a while ago anyway the guy at sweelee told me

sweelee something con ppl one. they sae the stock will come but when next month u go over. they will sae they not sure or will sae next month again...i got this problem before...so dun look forward to it too much...hmm...

Yeah... Swee lee pretty much did that..

Guess what, I wanted a Remo Powerstroke 3 20" drum head but suddenly they gave me Remo Encore P3 20" after waiting for 4 days...

I need it in a rush else, i wouldn't have bought that...

I never really think much of Swee Lee, especially the sales staff they employ. The staff are pretty much musicians trying to make a living by being a salesman in a music shop. But they failed terribly! Also, Swee Lee is not a drum and percussion friendly music shop, not even Yamaha or any other music shops in Singapore. We need more of shop like Drum Resources Music Place.

I went to Christchurch, NZ last year and went to this music shop called Rock Shop, and they have drumkits set up for you to try, and also rows and rows of cymbals for you to try too!!!! Beautiful!

erm...id like to say not every single salesperson is a clone of each other...so we do have to give and take...

i recently had a good experience with a yamaha salesman...he helped me check an out of stock pedal...kept me updated...called me a.s.a.p. when it came in...tried his best to reserve it and bring down to shop the earliest he could...

it really depends who you are dealing with... :D
