Rusty drummer looking for understanding musicians. :P

Greetings, musicians.

I'm steven, and i'm 20. Just ORD-ed, taking a break year before uni next year. Ask no questions, and I'll tell you no lies haha.

With regard to musical experience and tastes, I've been playing for about 7 years now, although the not much during the last two, cause of NS. My drumming influences would be GnR, Velvet Revolver, Metallica, Maiden, AC/DC, Led Zep, Alter bridge, and the like.

Now here's the problem. I'm really outta practice. Imagine getting to play your instrument like five times in 2 years. THAT outta practice. I can still play most songs, but problems arise in remembering sequences properly, or playing odd time signatures, or playing songs with weird progressions, and stuff.

Having said that, I need practice. I need a band which will allow me to practice with them until I'm back to my original ability, which should take like a month or two, after which we can play almost anything within the genres of blues/rock/alternative/punk/hard rock/metal (other than black/speed/finnish/viking).

Looking Forward to Forming a New band

Hi potential-drummer-to-be,

I am trying to form up a new band which may be potentially playing instrumental stuff or "deeper" music. Are you interested? We have not decided the general direction of the band but we would like to work towards jamming "free-styles" and if we become good enough, song writing might be potentially on the list.

Currently, I have 2 guitarists ( early 20s) confirmed. Both of us have almost 2 years of playing experience on electric guitar and would like to interact with musical individuals who are keen on learning and progressing together.

Hi steven.

I came across while looking thru and while looking for a drummer.
Currently, as for my band, we are newly formed band, with interest of playing post hardcore songs.
Our influences is luke alesana, bless the fall, a day to remember and few others.
We personally are not looking for an advance player as we kbow ourself we are new with each other and we are more focused on growing up and learning together..
We are of early 20s as well, 2 nsf, 3 working...bt nt over the age of 25.
