Hi guys, i'll have to begin by apologising for being new and uninformed about all things guitar. i've owned a guitar for many years, but only got an yamaha pacifica up until recently. I've just moved back to Singapore for a short period and brought along my pacifica with me, only issue is that due to the climate here, it seems that my pacifica is rusting and oxidising quite a bit where the pickups are despite my attempts to prevent it from doing so.
I absolutely love my pacifica for what it is, although I'm not a great player myself, I like to know if a badly rusted pickup would affect the sound of the guitar, and if it does, what are good recommendations for replacement of the 2 single pickups and humbucker?
