Rhythm Guitarist available.

Hi all,

30+ year old rhythm guitarist here. I'm looking for a band to play pop-rock/altenative-rock/funk/reggae/a bit here and there, for recreation/pastime and to perform in functions and gigs. I can't play metal music, sorry about that. :D

I'm neither a semi-pro nor a professional guitarist. Just an average guitarist who knows basics and can do little solos. I'm not one of those technical/virtuoso guitarists out there but I'm more of a songcrafting type of guitarist.

I have a Squier Strat and I love the twangy sound of it and I have Turbo Distortion and Digital Delay pedals as well. Going to get a Wah pedal soon. I also have a semi-acoustic guitar and I do enjoy playing acoustic guitar too.

I have performing experiences and the recent one was sometime late last year. I have performed in small functions and weddings so I'm more or less familiar with wedding setlist that includes certain songs from Richard Marx, Def Leppard, U2, Firehouse, Journey, Oasis, GnR, Creed, The Calling, Vertical Horizon... the usual stuffs and I think you know what I mean. The reason why I'm posting this ad is because my band is going to dissolve soon due to certain band members having their own priorities.

But I do wish to carry on. :D

I would like to play in a band having a few genres which includes pop-rock, alternative-rock, funk, reggae.. basically something that's fun and looking forward to play in gigs of course.

If you are looking a technical guitarist, I'm not the one. Just an average rhythm guitarist. Playing guitar for the love of music and nothing to do with either self-glory or egos. :)

Thanks for reading. Please drop your enquiries below.

Hi Bro,

I'm a 30/m vocalist. Looks like we have similar taste in music. Would you be keen in an acoustic-ish project? if so feel free to drop me a line at keorfas@gmail.com.

Cheers!

Acoustic guitarist here, 40+. Sounds like we have some similar interests - I like to do covers in acoustic styles, sometimes open tuning, sometimes slowing things right down - who says a cover needs to be just like the original, right? I'd be interested in getting together for an evening and having an acoustic jam, if you're up for it. East Coast area (near Bedok). Drop me a PM here if you're interested.

Hey MaveRick,

My band oligarchy (www.myspace.com/oligarchyonline) is currently looking for a 2nd guitarist to cover my guitars (or thicken or sound). Reading ur ad, i reckon you'll be a good fit (you mentioning that you use a squire guitar sold me). We're all in our late 20s, currently writing and recording our LP and sourcing out for gigs. Do let me know if you're interested. You can call me at 81680709 or email at oligarchyonline@gmail.com.
Hope to hear from you really soon.

Regards,
Wan
