Retro Groove will not be continuing our contract at Yello Jello at Clarke Quay beyond the end of May. Our last night at the club will be next Saturday 30 May 09.

Please treat this as a personal invitation to be there and share this special night with us.

It has been a very exhausting but happy more than six months there. Apart from the fact we are very tired, we also need to spend more time with our families etc.

I would like to personally thank all KKNers, friends and everyone else who supported us during out stint there.

From June onwards, we will commence a more tolarable 3 nights a week stint (though they mati mati wanted us to do 6 ngts) at a more intimate yet rockin pub style setting (which is basically going back to my roots). Details to be released later as officially I'm still under contract with Yello jello.
 
OK KKNers - tonite the big last night at yello Jello - al lot of my kakis coming - infact we have 2 tables reserved and a friend (JAmes - RG's lateast supporter) is opening table (Remy, Chivas etc) so anyone joining welcome to really join in the free drinks.

Jamming for those not drunk yet is a must!

See you all tonight! We kick off at 930pm!

I think choosing to play with certain band members is not of anyone's business except for the band leader. Who they work with, the gear they use, etc....It's their business. Musicmanship & Technical proficiencies aside, sometimes people do look out for the kinship above everything else. And, hey, RG are doing this for fun peace and laughter, reliving the old days akin to a mid life crisis(hoho, 1 day I will kena also la so I'll stop laughing). Encourage your fellow musicians la.Why so serious?

But I up you one point for being brave enough to put your RG on youtube and having balls. But just one point. Hahahaha!!!! Come on people!!!! Say the truth!! Ahhhh........ I feel better now. Can't say the same for your band guys though. And yes, I've seen you play many many times at yellow jello. Don't think i havent........... Let's hear from the rest!!!!!!

i oso cari makan but cant get place to play yet...but i got many2 frds who cari makan but i dun feel sore... i still come over to drink,support and jam. tats wat it is suppose to be...

Retro Groove is taking a two week (or so ) break from Ten Years After Pub while they sort out some management issues while being incorporated.

We will let you all know when we're back ...
 
sorry to bump this thread for something that's prolly over and done with but what has MELT got to do with any of this?
