Anyone knows whether a 22 fret neck can replace an existing 21 fret neck of a stratocaster? Are the neck dimension the same apart from the number of frets?

better ask technician outside do for you..

this is a quite a tedious task..from choosing the right neck..fixing and bolting the neck..fixing the truss rod..to neck adjustments..

if you wan to do it on a genuine fender strat..better not..unless its a china or korea..or indo model..like squire..if not i suggest you dun do stupid things to ur fenders. if not, ur investment will go to dust...

Is the neck pocket/routing on the guitar body the same for both necks? Is it a one size fit all kind of thing?

-Thanks for the input guys

It's quite easy actually. All that is needed is a really slight extension on the fingerboard edge and a extra fret there. Warmoth sells a 22 fret strat style neck. No need to adjust scale or any of that sort.
