Repaint finish at a car mechanical shops in sg?

hey all, i was thinking of repainting my guitar but not sure where to. i was thinking if bringing it to a car shop to get it repainted as its cheaper than it bringing to a luthier. just worried about how the quality will come out compared to luthiers who does them professionally. does anyone have experience with bringing guitars for repaint? tks

Automobile workshops, majority of them, give the current finish a new overcoat, that's about it. There's no stripping of the current finish unless you tell them to do so & that will be an extra charge. Which workshop do you have in mind?
